About the Awards
The RCM Annual Midwifery Awards reward, celebrate and share outstanding achievement in midwifery across the UK. They recognise the best new evidence-based practice projects and the best in team working. They discover outstanding individuals making a difference for women, families and the newborn.
This is your chance to make your mark in your profession and win recognition from your peers, your local community and the wider health world.
The Awards were presented at our magnificent Annual Awards Lunch on 3 March 2015 compered by television news personality Kate Silverton at London’s top venue, The Brewery.

Winning an RCM Award is a morale boost like no other. You will be celebrated in local and national media and, of course, Midwives magazine and may find yourself invited to speak at RCM Annual Conference. You will be recognised as a rising star in your profession and raise the profile of your team and unit.
- Have you applied research evidence to improve care and service delivery?
- Is your team dynamic and exploring new ways of working inter-professionally?
- Do you advance midwifery education or work towards building a stronger RCM?
If you answered yes to any of the above we want to hear from you. This is your chance to inspire others and earn the recognition you and your team deserve, seize it with both hands!
