This statement sets out our privacy policy and how we may use any data provided by you to us. The RCM Awards (‘the Awards’) is run by Redactive Events Limited (‘Redactive’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’), whose registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ on behalf of our client the Royal College of Midwives (‘RCM’). We value transparency, openness and fairness and this policy aims to clearly set out what we will do with any information you provide us. Our focus is always on keeping your Personal Data secure.

By providing your Personal Data direct to us, for example by registering to receive an e-newsletter or other service, Redactive will act as both controller and processor of your Personal Data and you acknowledge and agree that your Personal Data may be shared between and/or processed by any member of Redactive’s group, and that we may, on request from RCM also share your Personal Data with RCM only who will process your Personal Data in line with their own policies. Where you have provided your data direct to RCM, Redactive will act only as processor of this data.

It is your responsibility to review and understand this Privacy Policy prior to providing your Personal Data to us. You also should review the site’s Terms and Conditions . If you do not accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions  and/or , please refrain from providing your Personal Data to us, accessing the site, and/or utilising our products and services.

The details we request from you (‘Personal Data’) include your name, telephone number, email address and company details and broadly fall into two main categories:

1. Financial information – this includes any payment details provided by you for services including but not limited to delegate fees, sponsorship and exhibition packages, and award entry fees. This information is not distributed under any circumstances.

2. Personal information – this includes your name, address, company name, email address and phone number. This information will be stored for internal use and may be used to send you relevant information on our services. We may also share this with relevant third parties such as event sponsors where your permission has been given.
We may also send you an e-news letter. You will always be able to unsubscribe from these e-newsletters.
We will also store email communications we have with you.
Your IP address is used to gather broad demographic information, and for other purposes such as monitoring visitor frequency to our website. This data is not shared. We also use cookies for these purposes.

Who has access to your data?
We treat your Personal Data with care and confidentiality and do not share it with third parties other than those detailed in this privacy policy unless we have your valid consent to do so.
We may share your Personal Data with the various organisations which provide processing services on our behalf, including but not limited to hosting companies, payment providers, email and other marketing service providers and other software providers (‘third-party service providers’). It is likely that the identity and categories of third-party service providers will change from time to time. We require that our third-party service providers only use your Personal Data as necessary to provide the requested services to us and each service provider is subject to a set of terms consistent with this Privacy Policy.
We may need to disclose Personal Data at the request of governmental or law enforcement agencies.

Your Personal Data is treated strictly confidentially and we have taken the appropriate technical and organisational security measures against loss or unlawful processing of your Personal Data.

We will not retain your Personal Data for a period longer than is necessary for achieving the purposes for which they were collected, or as long as the law prescribes.
